NOMINATE

Award recipients will be recognized as part of CSSEA’s Annual General Meeting and Conference, taking place from October 9-11, 2024 at the Marriott Pinnacle Hotel in downtown Vancouver. The Community Social Services Awards of Excellence will be celebrated on October 10.

NOMINATION PROCESS

Anyone can nominate a deserving individual for a BC Community Social Services Awards of Excellence.

Nominations from previous years are encouraged.

Nominees must work for or have retired within the previous 12 months from a CSSEA member or associate and nominations must be for work done in service to or on behalf of a CSSEA member or associate either as a permanent or contract employee.

Nominations are to be submitted online prior to the deadline. The rules and regulations should be reviewed before filling in the nomination form.

Nominations submitted are reviewed to ensure they are completed correctly. A nomination may be moved to a different category if the awards committee feels a different category is more appropriate given the nominee's profile and experience.

Nominators may be contacted for clarification of information submitted.

Nominees are sent an email acknowledging receipt of their nomination and requesting confirmation that, if they are selected an award recipient, they accept the responsibilities of an award recipient.

Nominations are shortlisted to four nominations per category by the Awards Committee.

An award recipient in each category is selected by a panel of judges.

Award recipients will be contacted by the Awards Committee.
