Who can be nominated?
All employees on record employed by a CSSEA member or associate at the time of nomination and date of the annual general meeting are eligible for nomination. In addition, former employees who have retired from a CSSEA member or associate within the previous 12 months are also eligible for nomination.
Nominations must be for work done in service to or on behalf of a CSSEA member or associate either as a permanent or contract employee.

Who can be a nominator?
Nominators can be co-workers, clients, family members or members of the public. They do not have to be employed by a CSSEA member or associate. If a nominator does not directly work with the nominee, a secondary nominator within the CSSEA member or associate must second the nomination.
How do I submit a nomination?
Nominations are submitted online through the BC Community Social Services Awards of Excellence website.
Nominations for the 2022 BC Community Social Services Awards of Excellence will be accepted until April 22, 2022.
What are the judges looking for?
Individuals nominated must demonstrate a pattern of going above and beyond, and inspiring change in others. They are admired for their achievements, respected for their dynamic professionalism and know-how, and have had a positive impact on the community social services sector in BC.
